Unions have there place.....but it isn't in the cable industry, at least not on the contractor side.
It would be good to get some sort of NFP organization to help the contractors in this industry but its just to big of a mess to ever see that happening.
I make a decent living and I treat my guys right. Thats good enough for me at this point.
My opinion is if you want to work for a union put your name in at the "bells" they are looking for a few good men>
