Anyone can join a union, you would want to join the CWA [Communication Workers of America] that way you could also perform FTTF drops, as this is all union labor. You can also sign a national agreement, work anywhere in USA, pay your dues to just one union. You can also sign up for just one job at a time, keeping your company open for other opportunities. CWA-1109 out of Brooklyn NY understands CATV. Beware that most unions just want the dues and membership, If your a traveling company, they won't help your employee's much.
