msp = master service provider (DTV crap)
hsp = home service profvider (more DTV crap) hsp is like an in house tech thing.
msp is like a fulfillment contractor that perfect 10 and DSI distributers use. it's DTV's way of cutting wages for contractors and contrlling (hah!!!!!!) service calls.
reality - the hsp/msp program dropped wages in the industry for all techs. and actualy created a sh** pile more. it allowed for techs with no certification (hacks) to flood in and real techs. to leave the market.thus creating very poor customer satisfaction in the satellite industry.
and that's just a few things there are alot more points to the hsp/msp program.
