Thanks DONE RIGHT, it just goes to show what alot of books cant teach. Years ago I was actually taught to leave braiding sticking out of the bottom of the fitting!!!! This showed that none of it was rapped around the center conductor (stinger). Well you can imagine it didn't take me long to figure out the real truth, but this was back when we cut fitting with pocket knifes and used hex crimp fittings. Good advise, use good tools, good fittings, and dont get back-charged for a bad fitting, that'll piss ya off!!! Do it right the first time and dont ever hear from that cx again, until you go back for the non-pay. Later, Red
