Re: your input on Verizon doing DTV sales

well atleast now i know it isn't just Verizon is funny how all the phone reps are saying the same kinds of things to customers.
here is a few i've heard:
all 4 boxes are free (no monthly payment)
all the recievers are HD
you can get the internet right threw the recievers!
they are all DVR's
phone company said you would hook up my DSL when you came to do the install for DTV
I was told to take the 4 recievers even though i only have 1 tv because there FREE!
I was told that you would install the dish on my barn cross the field so i wouldn't have to see it on my house (lol) that one cracked me up)............
phone company said you would be here from 8 to 10! (am's are 8-12 pm's are 1-5 ONLY!) always has been.........
I am sure i left a couple out but I do the same thing now, Knock on the door introduce myself then say,,,,,DID YOU ORDER THIS FROM THE PHONE COMPANY? if they say yes i pretty much run down the list and put them on the phone with DTV for i do anything.


OH and the other great ones are all the WRONG ADDRESSES
or PHONE #'S LMAO!!!!! <---- thats what they do even.............
or both and the best is setting up the order from houses there moving from , not too.
