Amen to that, Doug. I never got paid to learn anything in this industry. Sink or swim, do it right the first time, or go fix it for free. You learned real quick, unless you were just a dumb ass, to not work for free. Quality was there, no whiners, bucket babies, or sissies. How about these guys who get paid to do work, screw it up with a bunch of gigs, getting egg on the prime's face, then get paid to go out and fix it? I have never quite figured that one out. Maybe it's all a numbers game and I am just too stupid to get it...Or not.
