That sounds too similar to why I moved 2500 miles AWAY from Hurricane recovery and its appeal.

Too many selfish people. There was a company that put me 50K in the hole with the really good people that were drawn to the same empty promises for work in the late '04 Hurricanes in FLA. Just go away, go home, leave empty people empty handed. It might feel like a sucker punch, but it is better than being suckered....Oh, gaff thier tires when you leave and you will feel much better.
