Answered Ad from here. Talked with them for two weeks to make sure everything that was talked about was in place.

Met with the project manager, Seems like in 3 days everything changed. No tent city, just camping by a river. Toilets that I wouldn't go nearer than 100 yards of. Promise of a cash draw when we got there was no longer offered. $1,000.00 a week turned into $200.00. Meals and Snacks that were promised, We were told to go to the soup kitchens that were set up around the area.

All this on a promise of work. "Get em there and then Sc**w em."
There is alot of work there, I've seen that with my own eyes.
I just think that companies that are getting the contracts would be up front with the people that need the work.
My advice to anyone answering Ads, Research The Company, Talk with anyone you can to find out if they're on the up & up, and be prepared to ROUGH IT in these areas no matter what you are told. OH, And get it in WRITING before you leave home.
I'm still looking to do some of the storm damage work, but if a Company can't put it in Writing before I leave again, My Techs and Trucks will stay put.
Anyway This is just a word to the wise. We're all grown up now and have to make our own decisions. Just remember the old saying, " If it sounds to good to be true, It probably Is."
