I've got to throw in my 2 cents here. I strapped on my first set of hooks in the 70's and found a good life in cable as long as I worked hard and did every job to the best of my ability. I've worked from one corner of this country to the other and always was treated fair until the late 90's. Things changed - So I went to antenna work hanging vertical cable and splicing but that has turned into a 10 dollar a hour operation. These ads that are popping up on the storm damage has to be the biggest joke to date. That area is my home turf and was looking to get into the fray and get them back on line but now I think its going to be one big scam with a lot of good hooks getting burned before the smoke clears. Proceed with caution here. Miss those days of quality work earned quality pay.
