Re: C-band problem

Every now and then this phenomenon is talked about on this board. I have seen this in two different systems in Mississippi. Both were near an airport but only one was near a military (Air National Guard Base). I am sure it is some kind of radar. I am wondering too if it can be from a police type radar. Not sure if that would explain the 10 second interval though. the AWACS plane theory might explain a lot of it. Why it happens where there is no military base nearby. Why it seems to grow in intensity then dissipate slowly...
