There is more to it than doing the job.
If DTV ws serious about the phone thing they would push the customer.
IRDs connected to the same telco system as PCs have caused problems.
A growing number of houses will NEVER have a landline. Cell phones are ok for many.
A simple measure would be to include a phone splitter in the receiver shipment.
It is just easier to ring back by computer and backcharge installers.
If you murder the messenger every time he fails to deliver a message how ling will it take before there are no more messengers?
