A 1000' spool of flat telephone wir can be had for a little over $10. The connectors are damn cheap and so are outlet splitters.
The $2 it might cost you to do it in the first place might save you a $$chargeback$$ or the cost of going back out.
I know it's just more work/money you have to spend but you either have to tackle the problem head on, or get out of the industry.
