Where is this industry going, just read the posted messages here. I guess the MSO's -CEO's don't think the labor contractor mean anything in regards to acquiring or maintaining customers. Rates are falling causing cheap labor, quality going to hell, standards not be applied, maintenance not being done: no one on the MSO side of this business seems to care anymore and this will all lead back to their customers counts. I don't believe the owners of the system really have a handle on what's going on in the field, they just listen to lip service from their people. Get out in the field- look/talk to the laborers, you can't hide what's been installed. Isn't their any prime contractor anymore that has their own crews, is everyone a sub contractor. Wake UP Cable Industry, ma bell is on your heels. I think the cable industry will sell out to ma bell in years to come. Hang in there-in the next five years you'll see a major change in the labor market. Good Luck.
