Hey Vic,
I posted the same thing back during the storms in Southern California. I waited a week, and they tested the line from the office, saw it was working, and never came out. I had terrible crackling and couldn't use my phone. I actually had to post everyone here and ask how I could fix it myself. After a week and a half, I finally had a phone, but I fixed it, not the phone company. Go figure?
