On an HP, I usually set FREQ start @ 1mhz stop @ 45mhz. AMPLITUDE, REF @ 20(+)dbmv. Hit DISPLAY button then DISPLAY LINE on, 20(-)dbmv. ATTENUATION @ 0 dbmv. This gives a pretty good look @ your spectrum with the "40 down" line as a point of reference
