As it turns out. someone very close to me was bitten by a viper.
Took her to the hospital. They gave her two choices. An Anti Venom (Several hundred if not thousands of dollars worth of administration costs)
Or--- Benadryl.
Benadryl as it turns out can be just as effective if used properly and in time. You sit in the waiting room and they monitor you.
Thing is, this approach isnt promoted that much. Why? There's no money in it.
My point? There are almost always alternatives. They may not be glamorous or have a lot of glitter, but they work.
Remember this, if you dont take any thing else off this forum regarding Unions---- Always follow the money! It always leads to some fat bastard sitting in an ivory tower that doesnt give a rats ass about you or your family.
