wow!! same thing happened to an install outfit about 25 years ago. started it's folks out as sub's. couple of disgruntles didn't want to stau out late to pick up work and were fired. they went to the labor board in los angeles and they decided everybody was actually legally employees. company had to pay everybody (40) of them back overtime pay guesstimated and based on minimum wage. put everybody out of work but they all got a check from uncle sam for $750. they started punchin' clocks till they all went oob!!! that would be L.A.!!! interesting and thanx for the info!
