Re: Union

I have been in the I.B.E.W local 58 for 18 yrs. Thats the electrial workers union. I only picked up 6 months work out of the last two yrs. There are to many scabs out there that will always do it for less. I can get paid 50 a day to picket non union companys . But who can live off of that. So in the mean time i sub work off of comcast for mdu work, right back were i started from 20 yrs. ago . So sure if you go union you make more money but you wont have any work. Unions are not like they use to be. And even if your laid off you still have to pay your dues each month. Take it from one of the biggest union men out there leave the union out of catv cause pay will drop futher than it all ready is. And you will be like me an Electrican doing catv.
