I'll state again that any checks that were issued to the field by GFC as of Thursday were done with the idea that they would be legitimate checks. Checks were sent out Thursday by end of business by the remaining staff, then the Chapter 7 was filed later that night. Perhaps you could argue that Cerberus knew they were going to file the Ch 7 before that and let GFC cut the checks anyway, but I'm not sure how you'd prove sucha thng.
