It is will be more prevalent where the forward path levels are higher. For example, a line terminator on a 23 tap is more likely to cause CPD than one on an 11 tap. The presence of AC is also a factor, so don't try to track it by pulling power on a leg or it will go away (temporarily) only to return the exact second you unplug your analyzer.
