I think the mother should be prosecuted also for endangering the welfare of a minor. As you say, Dave - Jackson had a history before of this kid molestation charges....a leopard doesn't change their spots. It has been proven and acknowledged by those who deal with pedophiles that even if incarcerated, they don't change with rehabilitation. End of discussion. So, at the very least, if not shot dead, Jackson should be denutted. If anyone every touched any of my 3 kids, no matter their age, they'd be dead on the spot and if they were bigger than me, well, I'd go down fighting. Just my early morning feelings, guess I better get some sleep! This is some sick world we are living in.
