I worked for a company before that had a siliamar contract. They called it a "no-competition" clause. It stated that you couldn't install primestar satellites for another contractor for a year after leaving their company. The problem they had was enforcing this statute. In Alabama we have a right to work law that allows us to work where we please without being limited by such "no-competition" clauses. So, if you are in a similar situation, check to see if you are in a right to work state.
