Beat Problem

O.K. Got a problem. My system runs ch. 2- 62 with A-1 throgh A-5 . I'm getting horizontal lines in ch 5 and 6, ch.13 . and chls. 30 - around 58. I can't see the lines in the headend, but I can see it at each node , very faint. I'm using old C-Cor 450 mhz amps. After about eight amps or so, the problem is very visible. In the headend, I have everything combining down to two combiners feeding SA launch amps that feed into one SA launch amp.
When I remove the lower channels (2-36) the problem goes away.
I've tried replacing the launch amps.
I've done the math and removed the harmonically related channels from, sat ch. 52. No change in that channel.
I've replaced the combiners.
I've tried staggering the channels on the combiners( instead of 2,3,4,5,6, I tried 2,4,6,8,10)
2-36 and the A subs hit one amp, the rest hit the other one before they combine into the main launch amp.
I don't see anything unusual on the spectrum analyzer. I can turn off the modulator of an affected channel and there's nothing there but the noise floor.
I'm pulling my hair out! HEP ME !!!(cussing)(splat)
