I know how you feel. I got out of inhouse and finally went to contract. It has its its own scale thta one must weigh however. Benefits Verses our Uncle Sam and his need for your quartarly dues. I have made more as a contractor, but running your own outfit can be really time consuming-demanding. it is like banging your head against a wall and finally having to stop becaues it is easier and more fun than finding appropriate answers.
I have read the replies from your letter (well put letter) and you have recieved some really friendly replies-maybe that is an old school aspect in itself.
Hats off to ya man, I believe you will find the road again.
