Re: Need Info On Sbca Certification

well, as close to code, which varies from state to state, opposed to nec, some states allow bonding to gas if a jumper from side to side of the meter is placed. as far as elec. ground rods they are supposed to be in a 4x4x12 foot pit fillede with a saline solution to actually qualify for grounding, not a 4' 3/8 circ. rod placed anywhere. gounding varies from state to state as far as regs. nec is generally accepted, company you contract with will tell you their spes.(in writing). american grounding/ canadien grounding, generally two different things. of course, blue staking, before you drive a rod, would also be appropriate.when the last time anybody called in a blue staker before they did a job? Later, Mike M.
