You really need to get a grip on what a "true professional" is. Installers in this biz do not need a degree or even a high scholl education to make good money. They can take one test and pass it and now you call them a professional installer. Give me a break!! I consider my doctor and lawyer professionals, but never the guy who comes out to hook up the cable or dish. I will grant you there are a lot of good installers out there who do great work and make decent money, but to think they should be on the same pay scale as other professions is insane. It is all about supply and demand in this country, and installers on the wrong end of the stick right now. If you do not like this or do not agree with it, maybe you should move to a more socialistic country.
