That may be all well and good but it's a porpotional issue.
How many gallons of Nyquil do you really go through compaired to the amount of gasoline your vehicle uses per gallon.
Whiteout for example: How long would it really take to use a gallon of Whiteout?
Gas prices have been porportined in the economy.
Prices go up it starts a chain reaction of increases. This is what triggers inflation on a grand scale.
Higher gas prices mean higher transportation costs which means increases in all aspects of business which are all passed on through to the consumer.
However the one thing that is "disporportional" to gasoline price increases is wages....hell if our wages grew at even 1/2 the rate of gas prices have over the last year we would all be fat!
Bottom line is we are being screwed by big oil companies and big business as well as our own govenment. Stop and look how much the govenment makes off of a gallon of gas.
"Again the fat mans busy dancing while the thin man pays the band"!
It's the worker, the middle class guy( or girl) who's, as always is getting the shaft.
No mercy on the working class folks
Some things never change.
