When you are stuck in a state 1500 miles from "home" and the only dude to work for is the one paying at least every other week and 4 weeks out.......You don't have all these choices, you have a love for a job that used to be about quality and showmenship and hangin, splicing or lashin more than the guys in the truck behind you....it wasn't about the money cuz you worked your ass off and got paid for it.....you made life long friends and slept really good at night.......You didn't NEED choices,,,,,,You were in NC in 1997 workin with TK,AD, BS,RC,DS,KS and all the others that used to work off 70 near the airport.....we loved our job and we cared about each other and we got paid......We didn't WANT choices!
