Well bid the job like you are going to lose up to40%.... and it doesn't matter if you get paid 6 months to over a year out. REMEMBER TOO that warranty of work DOES NOT have a time limit, they'll decide to go QC work when you get on their azzz for overdue invoices or never paid ones, even when 3 or 4 company techs have been there since the work has been performed, AND Managers and Chief Techs have signed off oking the work, oh and they LOSE alot of invoices at corporate pay offices..... and decide if you revise these items to what they want it to be (because they want the items to look better they over spent on this and that budget).... we'll pay them, Yea right.... When the lawyer gets ahold of them they will come up with this uhhhhh well look at this ... 2 same invoice numbers different amounts ... well DUH... but they just can't remember having you do that.
SO REMEMBER ALWAYS WALK WITH YOUR AZZZ TO THE WALL.. KEEP GREAT RECORDS, KEEP A LAWYER ON RETAINER
