Has anyone read the ad for Willis Cable Construction in Const/Tech Jobs? The ad says all there is to say about this company and the direction the cable industry is taking. $15 /hr to run cable, splice and activate. Maybe I am too 'old school', but for those prices I will not even consider rolling out of bed in the a.m. And they want me to slap my hooks on!!!!!!! roflmao!!! What kind of ***** do they have running their jobs? Or, does the *****running their jobs think they are smarter than everyone else working cable? Or, do they think everyone needs a job so bad they are willing to work for those prices?
That kind of ad is the reason I am not splicing today. I would rather work a factory job for 11.00/hr and be home every night with my wife and son than to work for *****.
