The Wavetek cli-1450 and Cli-1750 are both good meters for ingress testing for a drop job. You can check a drop in seconds and you can usually find them on ebay for under $1000 you can easily store the files and print them for your customer as well. Other advantages to these meters are the many other features included in them for the price. The HWTK is another great tool for finding problems since you basically have a mini sweep setup by using the cli-1750 and LST-1700 together it is the perfect setup if you are responsible for repairs.
