I heard of alot of solutions being used, including Orange Clean. Most people don't realize this will cause damage to the multiple plastic coatings outside of the cladding which contains the coloring. I haven't seen alot of a cladding damage, since this is the actual glass. The limited brittle glass i have crossed was very old technology and quite possibly factory defects.
