Re: huge rate differences state to state

Seems like thats the norm all over now.
Try $44.00 for a new drop, 3 wired outlets with boxes that have to be auto pro-visioned (or a charge-back per box), And a voice over modem thats registered and provisioned (if the site isn't down and your on hold for 45 minutes waiting with dispatch)
And all had better ping out well or your going back for free. This with your own tools and truck.
I see no comradery in this field that often, and as long as they'll hire some swinging **** fresh off the boat driving a battered monkey poop brown 87 dodge caravan who crimps fittings with a pair of $2.99 vice-grips it's just going to get worse.

Yeah I know I'm just a 28' hook ladder jock that does the end installs, but I enjoy going out everyday and meeting new people (some nasty, some nice) I like leaving a neat job and having a sub press some greenage in my palm as I leave.

Honestly, the end profit for the installer that cares is getting harder and harder to see. 6 days a week, 10 hours a day to take home 9 bills, then minus gas and insurance, maintenance on your vehicle and equipment, meals on the road,
My daughter misses me, my woman misses me, hell, I miss me.
