This is valued information and I will seek out all of it. I took the class from "The Light Brigade." I enjoyed it and learned a lot. I preformed well in the hands on and drilled the instructors for all the info I could get out of them. They too advised I research everything and become knowledgable about multiple test sets. I like the idea from my instructor to choose an OTDR I like and offer companies the support software to match the disks I create from field testing. Could cut down on having to learn about several different styles of OTDR's. They all pretty much do the same tests, but it's the access to those tests that are different. Your ideas are sound and I appriciate them. I am certified now for 4 years, but still have much to learn.
