Re: Where are all the stories?

I was running an underground crew in Salt Lake City,UT in '97 for a fiber job that was a big rush. (what isn't?)We were digging in a vault near a High Pressure gas line with the Mountain Fuel guy on stand-by if we managed to blow ourselves up. Well he got bored and decided to tell my green laborers all the horror stories associated with High Pressure accidents, two 18 year old kids straight out of high school(girlfriends brother and best friend). They seemed a little twitchy, but when I "found" an unmarked 2 inch water line that was pressurized in our hole, I think it took 10 years off each of their lives. I think they set 100 yard dash world records in opposite directions and the Mountain Fuel guy damn near wet himself in addition to the shower we were all getting from the geyser that was going 20 feet in the air. It probably took 15 minutes to convince them it was safe and to come back to the hole.(rotflmao)(shocked)(director)
