Signal Meter Blues
I recently purchased a used Wavetek CLI-1450. When plugged into a wall socket the meter powers up fine. As soon as you unplug it the meter shuts down. Thinking that the battery was bad I tried another battery I knew was good and the problem still exists. The meter just will not power up unless plugged into a wall socket. I installed the CLI-1450 battery into the other meter with the good battery and the other meter won't power up either. What gives? I hate to have to send the meter to Wavetek who wants $377 plus parts cost to repair. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Happy New Year!
