It sounds to me like you may have a short somewhere. It could be a problem with the electrical wiring in the house. One thing you may want to do is disconnect your ground wire and see if that helps. I had a service call about a year or so ago on a dish network that would lose signal every 5-10 minutes. While I was there I noticed that the signal was going out when their window unit a/c would kick on. I then disconnected the ground wire and it stopped puking out. Of course you cannot leave it this way but it may help you isolate your problem. Good luck.
