that may be what you allow to go on in your company, but where I worked, we had guys out fishing all night, and still showed up on time, I was always the last one in, because it was a 40 minute ride when there was no traffic. As far as paperwork, both companies I worked for re-did it whether it was right or wrong.(one even billed for tagging the tap, after I turned in my paperwork, and then gigged me for improper billing, but thankfully I had kept my copies of the paperwork so I am covered. )
we did have ONE guy like you described, but he was chased off very soon, and I never lost a box in 4 years!!
as for the 10%, that was YOUR choice.
