Re: SA II return amp setup procedures


First off I think you should terminate unused ports at any amp your working on. Don't count on 75 ohm pads or plug in jumpers either signal still gets through them use line terminaters.

The blue cover SA II amps are Low Gain Duals and should be set up the same way as HGD's.

The setup will be dependent upon the system your working in and what levels they want at each station input and whether you are working with two people or balancing to equipment in the headend.

I could be wrong but I wouldn't cut any coils, if the diplex filter slot has a jumper sodered to the board then it needs to be cut out.
