SA II return amp setup procedures

What is the proper way to set up the return on the SA II amps with the blue plastic covers. (Not the LE's). When you install the diplex filters, do you cut the coil and the resister along with the jumper? Do you have to terminate the unused port if not used on a dual? What else is important. It seems that they do not have much isolation as other amps. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
