maybe you fossils need to finally get out of the game instead of crying on the bar of days gone past. When you start thinking and acting like your skilled techs then maybe someone will show you some respect.
Gravy is what you put on your potatos not what you look for in your work, a good skilled tech can still make a great living in this business,but you have to be willing to make the commitment to want to be the best that you can be. You dont have to work six or seven days to make $1500 it can still be done in five.
I have guys calling me looking for work that claim to have many years of experiance yet they have no insurance or meters and cant do hsd, let alone voip or even explain how to program an hd converter. There is no way you can do quality work with out using a meter, Again where the hell have you guys been working, in the stone ages? Been along time since ive seen the flintstones cable company looking for installers or should i say cabledawgs.
Run your business like a business and you'll be suprised how much better your checks can be, a good skilled tech will always have work and will be paid for the work he does.
This is my first post to the discussion board as i generally just read it for the entertainment value, but to be honest some of you guys make me sick with your whining and sissy boo hoo crap.
