My system is one of those that was rebuilt/retro'd in steps over a 3 year period. We've seen this issue on nearly every brand of term we've had in the system. Gotta love the job security!! LOL
The SA 9" taps do pass the AC to the output, regardless of the tap value (modular dir. couplers determine values), so those with the thought that AC should be "terminated" actually can terminate the outputs. WE however have not seen any advantage to doing this. Just my 2 Lincolns
