Funny you say that. Worked in a system where it was a gig if you didn't use line terms on self terminating taps. They claimed that the taps weren't something or other BS and that the line terms corrected the issue. Funny they could never show a picture of what they were talking about. Pure BS IMO. BTW, this was using the SA stretch taps.
I told em we should call up all the tap manufacturers and complain that their SELF-terminating taps weren't terminating properly. lmao
