Well FatHilda, can I call you FatHilda? Please do not insinuate that I am lying or that this cant be done when I have done it. How do you place a lien on a person or company? That is what can NOT be done. You place a lien on a building or a vehicle or such. That says that object can NOT be sold until you are paid in full. I suggest you get the facts before you insinuate someone is being dishonest, ok FATHilda?
It is the same as a Mechanics lien placed on a vehicle. Make some calls, become a little wiser!
