You mean to tell me if someone other than the customer signs the work order you won't pay? Directv even tells the customers that a relative or ANYONE over 18 can be there for the installation and YES they CAN sign the work order and it's still a binding contract. I can hear you crying now if your tech's rescheduled a job because the actual person on the order wasn't there to sign it! I agree that you sound like an arrogant asshole.There's too many like you in this industry as it is and one more is too many. to the tech who worked for you i say cut your losses and get away from this jerk!
