Or could it be that the CIA has enough mercs (Afghanistan) in place to take care of the Jihad that they really don't view it as a real significant threat anymore? And could it be that George W. has/had a grudge against Saddam, for whatever reason, that he left Osama run free?

My opinion is Saddam should never have left the fox hole alive to be granted a trial. And we, the U.S. military, [not that I am implying that I am in the military cause I am not] would now be hot on the trail of Osama. And when caught, he would not be brought to trial either. Civil rights activists be DAMNED!
