I wholeheartedly concur that double standards are not warranted. We should not have laws protecting our own women/children only to have the cretins go over seas to get their sick, abnormal jollies just because most of those countries believe it is right or normal. Not to mention most are impoverished nations. However, I also don't believe Bush's version of "trickle down" will work any better than Reagan's did. I also don't believe we are doing everything we can overseas. If we are supposed to be the most powerful military in the world why don't we show it? {His daddy did. 2200 missions in what, 30 days? Now that is grabbing the bull by the short and curlies!!!!!!!} I would not like to see this thing end up as another Vietnam. As you say, "just my opinion."
