did a cli inhermosa beach a bunch of years ago, fcc was about to shut them down= fly bys daily ! outskirts of la international. pilots pickin' up hbo= no joke!!! paid 25 bucks an hour to locate and repair. a few things no mentioned yet were amplifyers in apartment complexes amplifying the old system (not upgraded yet) corroded ports on taps= salt air/ kinked and damaged cabling. anyway , turned in the aerial splicing to inhouse, hard to co-ordinate outages as you go. 25/hr was fair, in my estimation, as the expenses were minimal. they supplied the repair material and the leakage indicators. hope this helps . there's more to it as far as what you'll find but it will be educational to say the least. later Mike M.
