We found you can't always self-exempt yourself and not have the WC - Dan used to sign waivers with Mastec and Eustis when he worked with them but the job he was supposed to go on in SC with Beacon they told him he had to have it, no waivers accepted, didn't matter that he was a one man show/owner - so it may not always be rule of thumb just because of ownership - everyone has to get a piece of the pie, it seems!
