I have seen 15 years in CATV business we are losing it everyday.
Because most of the prime and sub are hiring illegal alien on do
our job with less pay. Last company that I was with they hired
bunch of illegal and put everyone in one house. I have seen 4 Bd
room house 25 people living in it. Company hired me and send me
to 500 miles away from where I live. During the time thay expect
me to live with those 25 people in same house. I have lived with
them for almost 4 months. living condition was so bad that I have
to moved out of there. One thing that I just want to say is I am
naturalized american. I was working hard like anyone else on the
field. I would like to live and working condition with standard.
On the other hand, they come here illegally and take the job whatever prime or sub offered. All they wanted to do is work and
send money home. I lived, work and paying tax here as any legal
citizens. Meantime, company wants me to work with them and
share with my cable footage daily. These guys work together and
share the cable footage equally. I have my own truck, meter and
tools. Most of these guys living in U.S for so long that can't speak
english. Finally I had fed up and quited working for that company.
From then make me realized that most of us start losing the job.
Or unable to take the job due to the prime and sub are hiring
illegal aliens with lower wage. This is how we lost our job.
Present time, I lived in las vegas, Nevada. most of the jobs here
are done by illegal aliens. Because they are so cheap and most of the companies makes profit out of it. State and federal knew
about it and do nothing. Meanwhile middle man like prime and
sub are making the best out of it. It seems that they don't care
most of the americans are losing the job everyday.
